Delete in the app
- Open the Deutsch Lernen app and sign in.
- Go to Profile / Settings → Delete Account.
- Request the 6-digit code that is sent to your account email.
- Enter the code, type DELETE and confirm.
Delete your Deutsch Lernen account
You can permanently delete your Deutsch Lernen account at any time. Deleting your account removes the account and the user data associated with it. This cannot be undone.

Request deletion on this page. To protect your account, we first send a 6-digit verification code to the account email address. Your account is deleted only after you enter that code.

What is deleted
- Account and profile: email address, name, username, password, profile picture, language and notification settings, and linked Google / Apple sign-in.
- Learning data: quiz attempts and history, reading and writing progress, XP, badges and certificates.
- Speak with AI (DEXI) sessions, transcripts, lesson progress and minute balances.
- Subscriptions and payment history in your account, support tickets, tutor bookings and chats, referrals, push notification tokens and login sessions.
What may be kept
We keep a minimal security log that the deletion took place (date and IP address), and technical activity logs without your account details. Payments processed by our payment providers or the Apple App Store are also kept by those providers under their own legal obligations.
